Capos Show Grit in Loss to Spartans, Fall 28-16

The Palm Beach Capos may have fallen short to the Miami Spartans with a 28-16 defeat, but their resilience and determination were on full display throughout the game. The Spartans controlled the contest from the outset, but the Capos refused to give up, mounting a strong rally in the fourth quarter that brought them within six points of the lead.

Quarterback Tyler Kelly orchestrated the comeback effort, throwing two touchdown passes to Kaishawn Curry. The Capos also capitalized on two two-point conversions, both powered by the legs of quarterback Brandon Stedfelt, to keep the pressure on the Spartans as the game wound down.

Despite their late push, the Capos’ hopes were dashed when the Spartans sealed the game with a pick-six, putting an end to any chance of a last-minute victory. Even with the loss, the Capos showed a never-give-up attitude, fighting tooth and nail to stay in the game against a tough Spartans team.

While the Capos ultimately fell to the Spartans, their performance in the second half proved they’re a team to watch as they continue to build momentum for the rest of the season.
