Palm Beach Capos Announce Departure from EAFL, Join the Universal Football League (UFLX)

After three competitive and growth-filled seasons in the Elite American Football League (EAFL), the Palm Beach Capos officially announce their departure from the EAFL and their acceptance into the Universal Football League (UFLX) for the upcoming 2026 season.

The decision marks a new chapter for the Capos as they continue to evolve both on and off the field, seeking new opportunities for expanded exposure, stronger organizational alignment, and long-term growth in the adult amateur football space.

"We’re incredibly thankful to the EAFL for the platform, competition, and relationships built over the last three years," said Head Coach Brent Bargerstock. "This move to the UFLX aligns with our long-term vision to elevate the Capos brand, challenge our athletes, and expand our reach within the football community."

The Universal Football League (UFLX) is an emerging, structured adult tackle football league known for its innovative leadership, regional expansion strategy, and commitment to raising standards across the board. The Capos’ entry into the UFLX represents a strategic step in their continued pursuit of excellence.

The Capos are currently in offseason recruiting mode, actively seeking players, coaches, and partners to join the movement as they prepare to make an immediate impact in their new league home.
